I wonder why simple everyday manners are for the most part gone. Some don't even understand what they say or how they act is rude. One 4000 year old book said the manners in the face of anger is like poison to the the rude person. Once I would have open held a door for any woman walking behind me , I stopped doing that mostly do to the lose of them saying a simple thank you. What is really sad is once you end up in a job you ll need them to get to the top. If you don't have them then you can kiss the nicer pay cheek goodbye 6 out of 10 times. Manners a simple thing lost but honestly needed.
